Each day is filled with moments.
Of this, we are all aware.
It is what we do with those moments that count, yes?
Too often…most often…we let a day, a week, a month slip by, going about the day-to-day… *missing* aaaall the moments!
The old couple walking along the coast, holding hands.
The sheer joy of a puppy frolicking about.
The wonder and curiosity of a child peering at a blade of grass.
We miss all of these moments because we’ve seen them time and again. We have compartmentalized those moments into “everyday, mundane, seen it all…”
Buuut the littles moments trigger those happy endorphins and make your heart smile 🙂
My old blog got the boot. Kind of. Life has been so busy for me these past two years, I was hard-pressed to find time to write. Consequently, my site got cancelled because I failed to renew.
Oopsie
Soooo…Moments is now born! I don’t know if I will keep it as Moments…it’s just what came to mind. I thought, “It should be clever or catchy or cute or unique or…” and then I thought, “…or it should just simply be authentically what you’re thinking”…and what I think most often of is the moments of life.
Moments given a bit of creativity, thought, intentionality…
Moments where we choose to pause, ponder, wonder, reflect…
Moments which are harnessed and embraced…
Those are the moments which evolve from a blink of the eyes to a memory of the heart.
It is a lovely thing to be able to pull from a bank of memories tucked away in your heart to encourage, challenge, strengthen and buoy you into the next moment.
Sometimes we need that push and can’t find it within our surroundings, people or circumstances. Drawing from memories can help you push forward into a new beginning, a new normal, a new perspective, when perhaps it seems a bit intimidating, scary or your heart is filled with dread.
I hope to encourage your heart by sharing moments.
I hope to challenge your heart by being transparent about those moments.
I hope, through this blog, my thoughts and heart will resonate with yours and the moments you invested to read
